Incoming configuration
Match the quoted laser source, optical head, motion components, chiller, controls, and accessories to the build record.
A factory review should follow the configuration, not a generic showroom route. Use this agenda to inspect assembly, control, testing, packing, documentation, and the points where responsibility can become unclear.
Ask for records and physical checks together. A photograph or certificate is more useful when it is linked to the exact machine configuration and serial number.
Match the quoted laser source, optical head, motion components, chiller, controls, and accessories to the build record.
Review cable routing, grounding, fluid connections, labels, service access, and workmanship against the approved drawing.
Check beam path, enclosure, interlocks, emergency stops, warning labels, viewing materials, and extraction connections.
Confirm interface language, parameter storage, alarm descriptions, access levels, backup method, and diagnostic requirements.
Run the agreed sample under recorded settings and retain the machine, operator, parameters, and measurement results.
Review protection, lifting points, moisture control, accessory boxes, spare list, manuals, and shipping responsibility.
| Stage | Evidence to request | Buyer decision |
|---|---|---|
| Before arrival | Machine model, configuration list, serial number, test scope, attendees, and language needs | Confirm the audit scope and required records |
| Build review | Component list, assembly records, inspection points, calibration status, and change-control evidence | Check traceability from quotation to delivered build |
| Safety review | Risk-assessment references, electrical drawings, interlock logic, labels, and instructions | Align residual risks with local workplace controls |
| Run-off | Sample inputs, parameters, cycle record, inspection method, measurements, and photographs | Accept or list corrective actions before shipment |
| Documentation | Manuals, wiring information, maintenance plan, consumables, spare list, training, and support route | Confirm what is supplied and what remains open |
| Packing | Packing method, accessory inventory, preservation, lifting details, and shipping documentation | Reduce transit, installation, and customs surprises |
Before leaving the factory, agree which records will be issued, who reviews them, and what must be corrected before shipment.
